Josi obtained her bachelors degree in psychology at Leiden University. She is now completing her research master degree in psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests primarily concern the effects of psychedelics on cognition and mental health. Since 2017, she has been involved in this area of research both as an intern and research assistant. In 2019, Josi completed her masters thesis under the supervision of Michiel van Elk and joined his lab as a research assistant investigating the neural correlates of religious attitudes.
