David L. R. Maij

David received his bachelor's degree in Brain & Cognition Psychology after graduating at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2011. Two years later, he obtained research master degrees in both Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical & Health Psychology (Cum Laude) at the University of Leiden. Since January 2014, he has been working under the supervision of Dr Michiel van Elk at the University of Amsterdam.

  • Neurological and psychological correlates of supernatural beliefs (e.g., agency detection, CREDs, theory of mind)

  • Behaviour change - he has a company aimed at changing behaviour (Neuro Habits)

  • (Altered states of) consciousness
